what the f#$% is this?

I created this countdown timer free source with the I built it for business owners and ambitious people who want to feel time urgently as its passing by—not in days or months, but in hours. For the business owner or high achiever who just needs that 25th hour in the day. This helps you visualize your goals with a “healthier” sense of anxiety & urgency. This was inspired by the television show “The Bear”. streaming on Hulu as of 2026. MUST WATCH

“The Bear” serves as a major influence for the creation of this product, because I admired & took note of their use of large clocks in many of the scenes to generate a sense of urgency for the chefs. More specifically, the clock in the first episode of season 4; titled “groundhogs”. There’s a scene where a partner of the restaurant brings in a clock that counts down how many hours the restaurant has left to survive. It wasn’t showing months. It was showing hours. And it hit different. (which was 1440 hours). 

1440 hours feels real.
83 days doesn’t.

I was astonished by this clock, mainly because I never seen one with hours to describe months. I figured it would make such a difference for me mentally if I had one too. 

That scene stuck with me.

Not because it was dramatic—because it was real.

It flipped how I saw time.  

Not weeks. Not months. Not years.  

Hours.

That’s what actually moves things forward. It made the Bear defy the odds. Find profit. I knew if I started thinking like that, I’d move faster. Stay sharper. Stop wasting time. Get my 25th hour. So, I went looking for that clock. But it was 500$ everywhere. WTF!

I’m trying to be more productive, not buy designer.

So, I dug.  

YouTube. Apps. Random corners of the internet.

Nothing.

No real thousand+ hour countdown ANYWHERE. Nothing that hit the same. Every single one stopped at 99 hours. Complete pay wall just for time productivity.

So, I built one.

But then i thought, huh. David. You can’t just keep this to yourself. You preach to everybody they need to be 1% better everyday. Get 1% closer to the goal everyday. How the hell are they supposed to get there without this clock. 

So Now, anyone can use it—for free.

just remember, every second counts.
